Healthy Or Not? Kellogg’s Cereals

Video By: John Fontana

Unless you are an 8 year old kid, I am sure you are aware that cereal brands such as Trix and Lucky Charms are not exactly the greatest way to start your day off. The cereal isle is one of the most populated isles in any grocery store. The rows go on and on with every flavor and brand imaginable. Lately you can find the popular brand name, a generic competitor or two and a healthy alternative. With what seems to be hundreds of choices, it is hard to tell which ones will be the right choice.

This week I take a look at two of the most popular brands, Special K and Raisin Bran Crunch, both made by Kellogg’s. You may be surprised at some of the things that I find. I also talk a bit about one of my favorite new food companies Natures Path. Their all organic cereals give you great taste with healthy ingredients. Remember its not all about the Nutritional Facts (calories, carbs, fat) but also about the ingredients that are in them.

With out any further ado, here is the Nutritional Showdown between the two brands and four cereals.
